The Official 2012 Shred Thread
Such a fun day on the hill today. Started at Piper Park with a bunch of the crew. Wind and sticky snow moved us to Leichhardt Park which we lapped for most the afternoon. Everyone was giving the jumps a go and there was a fun little hip at the bottom as well. I didn’t get many photos today but we had the GoPro out all day, so we got some nice footage. Grab for Swag was on everyone’s minds. Sauce was throwing some nice backside 180 indy grabs on the hip but kept bombing out on the landing, while Dylan nailed a frontside 180 indy. The down flat down box was really fun as well but unfortunately Cam busted his wrist coming off badly, which we do have on camera (we watched it after dinner - ouch). From there the Room of Ullr boys did a few Front Valley Park laps and Sauce nailed a Flying Squirrel grab. Azz, Kym, Wildman and co arrived this afternoon and had dinner with us. Great to have them here. Until tomorrow… signing out from from the Sundeck.

Knackered, back in chateau nbg right now in Jindy. Got down here last night with a mate and ended up getting a bit boozed, I left and was in bed by midnight, my mate stayed out with another mate and staggered in at 2am slurred speech, dribbling shit and generally a mess. Kim and Deano droppped in for a quick visit at the Banjo while we were there when tey got into town.
This morning I took great pleasure in waking up said mate and dragging him up the hill. Rode most of the day with Deano, Dylan, Fast Eddie and Fatima and also a fair bit with Wildman, was good fun. Lost my mate before lunch, Deano was the last to see him and said he just sat down in the snow like he was giving up. apparently when we found him again at lunch in the cow terminal this was the moment preceeding a monumental technicolor yawn. In between spewing he was trying to cover the evidence with snow ha ha ha!
Pulled the pin just after 2 as my mate just couldn’t physically keep going, he’s dead to the world already right now ha ha! Looking forward to Ozmum’s roast tonight!
