I’m glad someone finally said it!
I feel like I’ve stumbled onto a cross fit forum!
Since when did the Shred involve snow?! All I remember from last year is lots of drinking

rider just completed 150 pushups he racked up through today. from the 220 he did in total.
What was the lesson learned rider?

The on snow action was so much fun today. Had a huge crew riding (and doing pushups haha). In addition to the guys who were already here, caught up with Cam, Lachlan and their mates. Had heaps of fun with them. We mixed and changed groups throughout the day and we rode everything from Mt Perisher fun laps, park laps, rock drops, rollers, mini park, and some of the boys were hitting up the pipe as well. It’s great seeing everyone progress and have fun, regardless of experience. It’s been awesome shredding with everyone! Andy Aitken also caught up with us at the end of the day. He will be shredding with us most afternoons after work.
I’m so exhausted from riding all day and doing 250 pushups (yep, you read right. TJ and I copped it with the pushups today - ridiculous. I’m going to be more switched on tomorrow. TJ made the mistake of drinking half a cup of chilli sauce BEFORE doing all the pushups he owed hahahaha. Had another nice dinner with everyone before hanging out in the guest lounge for a couple of hours.

Its a pitty you can’t see Andyaitken’s boots in those shots.
But that’s ok because I videoed him when we first hooked up at Piper Park.
His snowboard had split in half and the bindings were really strange looking.
Should’ve seen his face when he realized it was shred week and standing behind me was Mika, fasteddie and dolf.
He had some lame excuse for skiing because of an instructing job he just got for Japan.

They closed it for grooming at 4pm.
I only know of 4 people at the Shred who have ridden it.
Was so stoked that Mika, Dolph and Eddie were doing laps through it yesterday.
rider reminded us last night that the flying squirrel comp is worth $1500 this year for 1st - I wanna try it in the pipe.
Everyone reckons they are all having a lazy day today and not shredding until 11am!
We’ll see - there’s zero wind outside and such a clear sky.
If it wasn’t such a mission I would get up and take some long exposures. Oh dang, left my tripod in the car.

Hey, are you guys drinking your own grog at the Deck?
Is it worth dragging our own up? Can we bust out our own in the common / lounge area (ie where everyone is hanging out) ?
Do we just buy from the bar?
Yeh thats what I’m curious about too. Can you BYO on the deck/snow area and lounge? or just sneaky in rooms?

If you are using VLC to playback your vids simply use the “snapshot” function. http://www.wikihow.com/Screen-Capture-to-File-Using-VLC
Then either upload them to your photo site of choice (tinypic, imageshack etc) selecting the option to resize to a max of 800pixels wide if possible (if you haven’t manually resized on your computer beforehand). Alternatively you could sync to a dropbox public folder and then link directly to that.
There’s a bunch of different methods but that’s just one to get you started. I’m sure TJ would jump at the opportunity to nerd up down there so might be worth asking him if you get stuck.
