My hero!!!
500 days to go!
Hey!
As others I joined this forum because it was the only forum where someone is discussing Sochi 2014 volunteer applications.
How are you all doing with the applications?
How did you do in the Skype interview?
Havent had a skype interview, have you?
I applied for the interview, selected the date and time. When the time came I received email that I have to install Skype and add their volunteer center skype account to my contacts. Then they messaged me asking what language I prefer english or russian. Then a guy from the volunteer center interviewed me for an hour.. He asked why Im applying, do I know anything about the history of Olympic games, the field I would like to work etc. He asked wether Im able to go to test events on March 2013.
You have to apply for the interview in the volunteer portal.
Anyone receiving emails about some Detech test? The email and the test is in russian. Do international volunteers have to do this test?
Thanks!
Can you tell us where the link to apply is?
I just had a look around and when i go to my sesions and select “Detech test-Ocog” I only get the 7th Feb 2014 as an option.
1. In vol.sochi2014.com go to My Events
2. Select Interview_OCOG and click Search
3. Then select the date and time of the interview.
Thanks!
I don’t have “Interview_OCOG” as an option there yet
Thanks!
Fingers crossed it will show up soon for me!
When did you first apply? What made you want to volunteer?
(love the class title! )
I applied in February as soon as the registration was open.
I would love to volunteer in the alpine skiing event. It would be awesome to see al the top racers competing..
Nothing for me either.
We applied in April, so maybe soon.
I’d love to assist with the snowboarding but I’d probably get housekeeping or something
I’m glad to see that there is some activity! Unfortunately I don’t have “Interview_OCOG” area yet either. I guess I’ll just have to wait patiently like everyone else! Please keep everyone on the board updated with your progress!
