The Official 2012 Shred Thread
Hey guys,
I thought I’d start the Shred thread since antisense, spaz, Michelle and I are already here. Please post/blog about The Shred in this thread.
Last night was a crazy mission to get here. It was all going fine until Cooma, when I realised getting a huge carload full of stuff up the the Sundeck wasn’t quite as easy as I imagined.
I picked up another two bags full of StepChild snowboards for demo. Huge thanks to Adam at Rhythm Boardstore for hooking that up. We have a huge selection of boards here. All the StepChild demo boards have only seen a few days on the snow. Adam is also offering any of these demo boards to be purchase for $350, if any of you are interested.
Anyway, we finally arrived at the Sundeck at about 12:30am and let’s just say we were happy to finally arrive. Ozgirl’s dad, Brian, was such a champ getting us here in treacherous conditions. He went out of his way to help us and I feel horrible for what we put him through. Check the Such a Mission thread for more of the story.
Michelle and I caught up with anitisense this morning at breakfast. He had a nightmare journey to rival ours. The three of us had a fun morning shredding around Perisher. THere was some nice fresh snow in places but generally the conditions were pretty slow and heavy. Heaps of people here for the weekend too. Watching the slow stream of cars pour into the carpark this morning was pretty funny. That didn’t stop us from having a fun day. We were all stoked to be back on our boards. Three three of us caught up with spaz around midday and the four of us did some riding together.
Now we’re just chilling back at the lodge. Going to have an early dinner and hopefully get out for some night riding, assuming we can stay awake. The internet is super slow at the moment so I won’t be able to post much until it picks up (hopefully).
We can’t wait for all you guys to arrive! It’s going to be one fun week!

Did some night riding with anti tonight. The slopes were empty and it was heaps of fun. There is night riding on Tuesday and Saturday nights. It will be so much fun with a big group of us.

I heard the Playstation Slopestyle was cancelled tonight, I wonder if they will put it on next Saturday night!
After an epic mission to get to perisher from Perth i finally arrived yesterday and had a sick time with Jez, Michelle and Spaz. Still finding my groove but it was so much fun to get out there for the first time in over a year
