Camrock, Amptek etc. hybrid | 6 |

My vote goes for amptek/camrock type profile with camber between the feet and rocker tip and tail. I’m a big fan of C2 as well, but after demoing a lot of camrock type profile (e.g. YES PYL, Rossi One Magtek, Rossi Templar, etc.), I’m a convert. It’s just easier to flat base, 1 foot straight run, and more predictable.
you missed flat camber thats my favourite, its a nice compromise IMO
Camrock has done me well for the last 2 seasons.
Mine current board is the gullwing camber, which I believe is option 2 on your list (rocker between feet and camber tip and tail)....my previous board was a nice regular camber. I honestly can’t tell what difference I feel in riding the board is down to the camber or what is just the overall increased flex in my new board.
Oops, I did miss flat camber haha, guess I can’t edit the poll now.
I’ve got the flying-v hybrid atm, but its the only board I’ve owned after learning on a regular camber board. I like it a lot but its not really a super highly informed opinion…
Really want to try a camrock so won’t put in a vote, but out of the ret i’d say good ol camber.
Went to Perisher a fortnight ago with my GNU C2 Banana which was nice, went to Thredbo last weekend with my old Burton cambered board that i hadn’t ridden for over a year and holy crap, my riding was 10000 times better. Just felt better and easier to ride with. hooray!
Regular camber will always be king. But every profile has its advantages and disadvantages in specific styles. I really want to try Torstein’s new board with the camber and flat under foot profile. I think it sounds like the best mix for versatility in all riding.
Yeah both my boards are flat, and I really like them. But I’ve only ever ridden that and traditional camber.
I reaaaalllly want to try TBT.
Camrock gets my vote but I’m keen to spend a bit more time on the opposite with rocker between the feet and camber tip and tail such as a Never Summer to get a better feel for that camber profile. If all goes well this winter in Whistler should have a proform hook up for Never Summer so will be looking to buy either an Evo or Proto CT.

Same, i’m keen as shit to try it out.

You guys talking about the PLY or the MEGA? PLY has the lock n load camber and MEGA im not sure on, but i want to pick one up for next year! Having spent this whole season ~25 days so far (thats a season for me lol weekend warrior ftw) on a 11’ DC Devun Walsh im definitely convinced DC make quality boards!
I love the old school camber but my new board that’s on it’s way has some need the new tech in it so my mind might soon be changed
My fav is what I’m on now. Flat between feet. Slight rocker outside of feet. Yet to ride a profile I enjoy more. Havent tried completely flat yet. Keen too
Looks like I missed a couple of camber profiles in poll lol.
