When I can’t find matching ones I just wear non-matching, usually different colors on each foot
I’m in for TM as well. Went for a pushie ride tonight and worked out that I can’t do more than 2.5 chin ups… as in I get half way to the top on the 3rd one lol.
Damn upper body strength!
Have fun trying to lift yourself over the 3m high walls repeatedly!
But most times there are people pushing your feet up anyway so you should be sweet
why? do you have to go up and over the same wall repeatedly? If he can do 2.5 chin ups then I reckon he can run at a 3m high wall and hold his weight long enough to pull himself up and over….at least I’d hope so, because that is about how many chin ups I could do last time I tried! hahaha
actually I’m short enough (164cm) that 3m would be bloody hard to run and jump and get an arm or two on to.
There is a 7km race with 26 obstacles on near us in the middle of october….It costs $70 for an adult though…how much does tough mudder cost?
about 100ish. It’s 21km with about 45 obstacles.
We got a good group of people doing it. With a quick boost, I’ll get over them easy enough. And if I start doing even just a few chin ups each week with push ups each day, I shouldn’t be too bad. I was a lot worse at them than I am now… :(
hmmm maybe I’ll ask freddy and see if he wants to give it a crack. He was complaining about being unfit when we were at the snow, so maybe if we sign up that will make us doing something or other to train for it.
Yeh mate you will smash them in, like i said, the most consecutive walls are 3, mostly there are 2 or 1 by itself. Plus every one is giving each other a hand,

I’ve not done TM before but I’d imagine training with Pull-ups would probably be more functional than Chin-ups for scaling over a wall.
Pull ups / chin ups, they both will help

quaters are harder though, cos when you land in the tranny you speed up heaps. Flat banks are definately easier
Yeah, I’d either lean to far forward and face plant coping or two far back and land to flat….... hipper ouch
