The Mile High presented by Carlton Dry - Full Video

Avatar

The Mile High by Carlton Dry 2012 has finished with Tor Lundström (SWE) taking the men’s title and $7000 in cash and prizes. Silvia Mittermüller (GER) took out the women’s with $3000 in cash and prizes. Both riders were amazed at the standard of competition as well as the world-class competition course built by Thredbo. The Mile High By Carlton Dry has had a great entry year on the World Professional Snowboarding Tour and is looking forward to a great competition future with the World Snowboard Tour.

Damm good edit! Pat on the back for who ever made this clip. Riding was SICK!...Looks like a great event.

Why is the males 1st place $7000 in cash and prizes and the girls only get $3000? It’s a huge difference. It due to how many riders enter the events?

Would be stoked to see this get more popular and attract some more big names.

you’ll be hearing a lot more of Tor Lundstrom’s name, I’m willing to bet. When they get these aussie events up and running and worth world tour points, a lot of the up and coming international riders come over to be a part of it and get some points. I remember torstein coming out still as an amateur for style wars a few years ago. I think Tor might have won or come 2nd in the billabong bro-down at snow park a few weeks ago.

Horgmo was in Oz or NZ?  Woulda been before he was Horgmo though I guess, lets hope it attracts him again at some point, still bummed I didn’t see him riding at Northstar.

Horgmo was in both, when he was riding as an amateur on the DC team. He won the style wars comp in vic and got on the pro team the following season, I believe. I got to see him ride in snow park last year, before he broke his arm. Best day!

I believe a bunch of guys were involved in the production but Jeremy from Olliepop Films did the editing (I think).
