or just go snowboarding dressed as a pirate…guaranteed to make friends that way!
You always board by yourself? I’ve never done it. Things like boarding, surfing etc, I don’t really like doing by myself. Firstly because I just like to do that sort of stuff with mates etc. because it’s more fun, but also cause I can imagine doing myself a mischief one day and being by myself when that happens would suck balls.
Oh, and I really don’t want to do the 6hr return trip by myself either. But hey, if things get desperate…
er - 6 hour is a pretty good hike if your going solo daytrip . . it takes me between 4 and 5 hours return to get to the snow depending on traffic which isn’t quite as bad. Agreed it is more fun with peeps, I rode with lots of mates when I worked at ski resorts in the past, but since moving here my schedule never seems to meetup with anyone who I know that goes - either something comes up or right day wrong mountain. In the end I just go - usually my music keeps me company

Or as Cords said - it is hard to not have fun and meet people dressed as a pirate!!
or a clown!
you don’t have to dress up for that one, K2
Our Microwave Officially just died. My Guinea Pigs will be Devo tonight when their ‘Magic” disc of heat that they wait for (they do sit and wait for it sometimes to spontaneously warm :( ... ) will not revive tonight. Sorry Sophie and Alex
^ Devo!!! That really sucks, although tonight doesn’t feel that cold?!
We had to go out to our new house this morning and I swear Gungahlin is the windiest place on earth!

That’s pretty unlucky microwaves tend to live forever!
I actually replaced my microwave with a convection oven/microwave a couple of weeks ago. So far I’m enjoying the added convenience of it. I just need to remember to use gloves when I’ve been using the convection or grill setting. Although it’s inevitable I’ll forget and burn myself someday soon!

after working on the roof of woolies bowral today, i strongly disagree. it seems every time im there its sooo f*#k’n windy that its almost too dangerous to work in the middle of a roof the size of a football field cause u might get blown all the way off!!!
i also found myself asking the question “who the f#*k would want to life here?!?” numerous times throughout the day whilst my tools blew all over the place
Last night as Perisher skibum. Total devastation!
awww snowdragon! I’m not really big on guinea pigs (just pure ignorance, I’m not aware of any kind personality they might have) but I am big on giving pets human names and I love your choices.
My old cat (RIP) was named Neil. He was the best cat that ever lived. Amen.

It’s not too bad outside (even with ALL that wind) But our place has the worst insulation - It’s always significantly colder inside and we pretty much have to run the electric heater non-stop except when we go to bed.
Thankfully we p/u the keys to the new place on Tuesday!!

It was a trooper, but it had a long hard life - We actually got it from my last job where it spent its life in a construction type portable office, for how long I have no idea.
Convection oven eh?! hmmm

Lame. Good job you didn’t commit to the snow then lol.
