USADA are doing more bad than good. Livestrong helps so many people out and this will ruin livestrong
So following the logic of the above two posts…
Just because he runs a charity, any indiscretions should be overlooked?!
*Not taking sides (lance VS ASADA, just posing a question)
Lance didn’t test positive to any tests he ever did a the tour de France. Usada can take away as many races as they want from him, the uci have the final say. I think that the uci don’t want this to happen even if it is true because of the bad publicity for cycling. When it comes to livestrong foundation lance is the most influential member and if these accusations are proven true the charity will fold affecting a lot of people. Usada are on a witch hunt are not thinking about the bigger picture.
Marion Jones also never failed a drug test.
yes but she addmitted to taking drugs, Lance hasnt because he is innocent? Innocent until proven guilty? I dont think Marion Jones has much to do with this situation IMHO . . .
She has a lot to do with it clearly.
Armstrongs defence is he never failed a drug test. Marion proved that you dont need to fail a test to be on performance enhancing drugs.
Yes, he is denying he has ever used them and im not implying he was. I dont know where i stand in this TBH.
I thought armstrong has decided not to proceed with legalities therefore he wouldnt have a defence yet . . Do you know ho many drug tests professional cyclists go through in a season? compared to a track runner? here is an index of everything that has happened, it is a lot but have a read if you want to know what is “actually” going on . . http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/index-of-lance-armstrong-doping-allegations-over-the-years
good work deanobruce, good to see someone sything through the sentimentality. My personal view is he’s guilty but I don’t know all the facts so it’s just a gut feeling. It does leave the tour de farce in a bit of a spot, especially when you include contidore…
Contador* I believe was set up. There was the tiniest amount of clenbuterol in his system, possibly the result of someone contaminating his steak?
In every interview he states he has never failed a drug test. Im sure that would be a big part of his defence.
Not in every interview. But admittedly not failing drug tests would be a big part in his defence about him not doping. yes . .
the plot thickens!
Corn Flour?????
If you had been driving for 30 years with an unblemished record - not even so much as a parking ticket - and years down the track, various passengers in your car throughout that time were called up to testify that they had seen you exceed the speed limit on numerous occasions, would you think it was reasonable to be fined retrospectively for speeding, even though you’d never actually been caught doing so?
If you’d won Wimbledon ten or so years ago, and even though not a single umpire or linesman spotted it, numerous spectators came forward and testified that they’d seen a crucial shot of yours go out when it was called in at the time - would you think it was fair for you to be stripped of your win?
