Whistler Employment 2012/2013

Hey dudes and dudets, so i’m going to head over to British Columbia late Nov / early December. (pretty much the earliest i can get there due to university exams) I already have a job lined up at Fernie, but my question is if i show up in Whistler at this time what are my chances of landing a job?
hopefully some experienced Whistler riders will be able to inform me

To be honest, I think it would be quite a challenge to land any decent job the late in the year. All the hiring will be done by the end of the Job Fair. It’s not impossible but it will be hard for sure. Some people get injured early season so they might look to hire a few extra people, but there will be heaps of people also looking for jobs. In conclusion, difficult but not impossible.

As sick as Whistler is, Fernie is a world class mountain as well. I’m sure you’ll have a great season over there and you can always do a road trip to Whistler. Keep an eye on the Whistler Blackcomb employment page and you might get lucky.
