Settlers of Catan - anyone play?

Avatar

Michelle and I were introduced to ‘Settlers of Catan’ earlier this year by one of her brothers. We found it to be a lot of fun and we just bought our own set.

It’s a strategic board game involving trade and building settlements. Apparently it’s hugely popular and one of the best board games ever made. http://www.catan.com

Does anyone else play? What do you think of it? Anyone up for a game at the Shred?

Hehe last year i was roped into playing risk for the first time with a group of over 40 family men…

Guess who won?? (i may have been high on adrenalin from winning a canon!

Its sounds like risk - shall we play at the shred?

Apparently it’s similar. I’ve never really played risk so I can’t compare.

haven’t ever played but everything I’ve heard about it is good!

I don’t like risk, because everyone I’ve ever played against has been far too good (Crackers included) so I never last long enough to get any real idea of how to play!
