Geez, you guys go all out!! I just balance my board over my BBQ…

Haha well up until we built my ghetto setup I tried to balance my board on a little two seater bbq table on my balcony. Scraping used to be so painful. Strangely I’m quite enjoying it since moving to the new setup I can’t overstate how much easier it is.
I just put mine on the ground. Specially made benches and equipment just seems excessive unless you’re waxing your board at least 4 or 5 times a week.
^ That’s why I just strap my feet to an old water ski when I ride. Having proper snowboarding equipment just seems excessive unless you’re riding at least 4 or 5 times a week.

My knees and back certainly haven’t found the $10 I spent on my bench excessive….

Yeah, kneeling on grass or carpet and bending over for 3 minutes once or twice a week is so different from normal daily tasks I guess it does require a $30 iron instead of a $5 one from the sallies, and a $20 bench. Yeah, $20.
Feel free to keep your shirts on boys, it’s just how I feel. I wax and scrap up to 50 boards and skis each week and I have no problem getting on the ground to do my own at home if I need to, but if you want to, you’re welcome to have your own snowboard only gear for whatever personal reasons you have.
Snowboarders are always looking for faster/easier/simpler ways of doing things - so it’s perfectly natural that waxing would attract a similar approach.
I have a spare waxing iron - so if anyone needs one, let me know.
Im interested chucky, how much moola you want for it?
Sorry mate, I missed this - you still need a waxing iron?
Yeh mate still interested f you still have it
Cool mate, I’ll PM.
Saweeeeet
just aquick update on this, i used DRC’s waxing bench the other week and it worked out well, made scraping so much easier…have to say, the bath mat didnt quite work so well with my topsheet though as its a rough top sheet, almost like grip tape off a skateboard….works perfectly well on a normal board though as i also scraped my girlfriends board using the bench as well, so all in all, a great $10-$15 spent
Another shot of drc’s waxing setup

Looks the goods, i have been trying to think up something for the garage for next year, and some way to store the snowboards and wakeboards
