. . . But in breaking news, the ‘innovators’ at Samsung’s gum division are excited about the impending launch of a nearly identical product. Any resemblance to Stride Mintacular is purely coincidental.

IT’S a challenge for even the most hardy swimmers, but these divers seemed more than happy to take the plunge when it comes to being thrown in the deep end.

Located in Brussels, Belgium, is the world’s deepest swimming pool complex known as Nemo 33.

Containing a staggering 2.5 million litres of water, the 34.5m deep pool holds several simulated underwater caves and underwater windows that allow spectators to look into the pools at various depths.

To keep divers warm, the water is highly filtered and kept at a moderate temperature of 30C.
The multi-purpose complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility.

Or maybe you’d prefer to Swim in the sky?

The Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao’s glass-bottom pool partly hangs over a 24-storey drop, making it appear to be suspended in mid-air.
