that thing is awesome mattyp, might buy one when the seasons up

its incredible..
iv never felt anything so close to snowboarding at all.
its almost identical.
cant turn unless you have decent speed, can butter like no tomoro, if you get to slow on a flat and have to push. all the same techniques.

carving down a hill is AMAZING.  as long as you commit, have speed, squat, then squat again, you’ll pull it off.

the only daunting thing is that if you come off, your in a world of pain.
im in the process of learning to roll from awkward angles to try and avoid massive injury.

but first day on it, push around a carpark to get the feel of it, then hit a small hill and i was linking turns.
if you can snowboard comfortably, you can do this.  I couldnt recommend anything better to do in a summer.
other then maybe hit up a fake snow place? which i am still to tick off my bucket list.

i’ll try upload a video from last night wink

That’s awesome, matty - but I think you’re underselling your own abilities. I’m really impressed you picked it up so quickly! I’ve seen really good snowboarders take ages to get the hang of Freebording - so well done!

Pretty stoked about it ay..

Had the board since Saturday. Think that was my 2nd session on it.

I cant describe how much it feels like snowboarding tho.

Suddenly wish it was a -5 sunny blue bird day.
Imagine a mountain made of concrete!

Learnt this tonight while waiting for a mate to finish work

IceBreaker merino ski socks.  Wasn’t planning to buy these, but was returning a pair of regular socks due to wrong size and decided to upgrade to these.  Currently an extra 30% off, so would be about $27.
