The STOKE thread
Stoked we’re gonna try and book our flights to sweden tomorrow night! We’re gonna go to a travel agent (STA), as I can’t seem to figure out for myself whether it will be cheaper to buy a return ticket to sweden and then separate return ticket from sweden to the states, or get a round the world ticket.

they give such great deals on good airlines aswell! Oh and make sure you check there internet prices aswell because I remember going to the agent and the price on the internet was cheaper, so they fixed it up. Cords when are u in sweden?? Are you going to be snowboarding in Are?

Yeah I plan to keep them honest with some internet research. Its pretty easy to do that with return tickets, but round-the-world tickets I find really hard!
STA is also good, as I’ve had tickets with them before that only cost $50 to change dates, which is the kind of flexibility we’re after!
Our previous swedish season was in åre, but this year we’re going to live in Sälen, as it is a lot closer to my husband’s family & they have an amazing park there! We’ll be there from sometime in December to the end of the season (so Mayish) I have a couple of friends in åre and one good one in östersund, so I’ll try and get up there at some stage, maybe not til spring or summer though.

Not many on here have ever heard of åre…have you actually been there?
That park looks so good, so many features. Would be awesome to spend a season there.

haha old volvos never die. Yep, I can’t wait for the season to start and get back to riding every day…and riding that park every day! Just a few months of uni hell to survive first!
May have found a new place to lease for myself and the girl, best thing is a friend of mine is the agent so if we want it we can have it, will know tomorrow morning after the inspection. This could also go in the devo thread I guess as it means I will be paying rent again, it’s been a nice 3 months without it ha ha!
