Had the best time of my freaking life there last week. Spent WAY too much money. Stupid happy emotions giving me a false sense of security.

Also i saw people sleep at the ski tube terminal. However i also saw patrol cars going around at like 8pm. So i think you can just be quite lol.

we need a shinkansen.. geez it would be easy to get to the snow if we could just jump on a train from central and be there in 2hrs

you wouldn’t be able to afford it Cords!!!

Sorry couldn’t help myself!

In all honesty who would pay for it?

Those trains are about the cost of a plane ticket in japan!

haha true, true I wouldn’t be able to…but its fun to dream!

How much would it cost in fuel to get down there?.. i’m guessing about 45litres @ $1.25.. so about $56

Sydney to Perisher - 493km
Osaka to Tokyo - 515km

Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo - 10am-12:33pm - $165

Yeah it’s pretty expensive I guess.. makes a day trip to the snow possible though! Someone get in Branson’s ear.. imagine “Virgin Jetrail”, return trips for $80.. damn that would be nice!
