here are some basic runs of the two parks. Piper features 6m boxes, transfer jumps, 10 ft table top jumps, 3m boxes and rails.
Blue cow features a 3m up rail ( almost like a pole jam), 6m down rail, 6m flat rail, 6m box and 10ft spine jump thingy . . .

nice! some of those little jumps in piper park would be perfect for me to practice my 3s and 1s on, dammit!

thanks for sharing!

Piper park actually looks pretty good. Bluecow not so much. Thanks for putting that up

yeah piper has a lot of features however its a flat run and therefore slow. also the tbar is soooooo slow and the line is long. blue cow is the better pick in my opinion

also the tbar is soooooo slow and the line is long.

Just goes to show how popular beginner park features are, when they actually put them in. On a mountain the size of perisher, there should be beginner parks scattered all around the place.

bah! double post

I agree with cords.

They could easily do a beginners park down Pretty Valley (accessible via the double chair) and one on the side of Pleasant valley in Blue Cow. Accessible by the Quad.

Even if this just involves 2 small jumps and 2 boxes, it gives people something to practice on while not forcing them to ride a tbar near Smiggins.

Smiggins is already overrun by beginners and Piper Tbar is slow and crowded making it not a great place for a park.

Don’t agree with Pretty Valley. the terrain is unstable they are still marking sink holes, it would only be around for a short time..

But Pleasant Valley is a great idea.

Yea I had that thought about Pretty Valley.

Pleasant Valley would be mad though, heaps of room there and you can get some decent speed smile
