I like the first one, with sparing use of layers. For a full sequence to work the rider has to look solid in every single shot, and I feel like the landing was a little sketchy. Great work though.

Thats very true, had another sequence of Tim pulling a rodeo 5 but his arms were a bit flaily.  That should have looked good on video though.

* Dial in +1 to +1.5 exposure, look at your histogram after taking a shot with some snow and sky in it - you want the peaks almost at the top, but without any flat sections. Flat sections at the top mean you’ve blown your highlights. Flat sections at the bottom mean you’ve filled your shadows too much.

Mark has got some pretty good tips except he meant high bars on the right edge are blown highlights and high bars on the left are saturated shadows.

Sorry yes, that’s correct - girlfriend was nagging me about something so was trying to finish my post and not thinking haha.

What camera/lenses are you using F@tony? Looks like Nikon mid-proam range?

was up at baw baw on the weekend and it was pretty icy so we just sessioned the log cannon for a while. Didnt have the best light and could have done with a flash. this one is a tad out of focus on the board, but thought id post it anyway

Not the greatest shots since I have a habit of forgetting my camera so I’m stuck with the one on the phone but figured i’d make a contribution all the same..

Spencers Creek, opening weekend. First time I’ve actually been out there since the road is pretty much always shut whenever I’m up the mountain.

Spencers Creek again.. slightly frozen over.. given my mate is the lightest of the lot of us he went out raspberry

This one isn’t mine, taken by a mate and uploaded to facebook to make everyone at work jealous (he’s the one standing on the ice in the earlier shot) took this earlier today on the road to Guthega, since he’s hardly on here I figured I’d throw it up for him raspberry
