i reckon a pair of nice thick ‘holepfoor explorers’ which can be bought fairly cheaply from any good woolies do sufficiently. they keep your foot warm and snug, and stop any rubbing.

I wear the Aldi socks, they are awesome!

I do have a pair of Burton socks but the pattern in them makes them really mega tight around my calf and it gets quite painful.

Can’t wait for my Boardworld socks though!!!

I too want one of those Burton flannel shirts but they are just soooooooooooo expensive

smart wool boarding socks.

burton boarder socks aint too bad, but not as pimpin as the smartwool.

feet are the most important part of keeping you on the snow all day every day - so i don’t know why people skimp out and buy shit sox.

I don’t wear anything that techy in socks ... I’ve got a pair of polypro socks, a wool pair and a couple of basic thin long socks too ... but imo so long as they are thin, fit well and made of wicking material then you can’t go too far wrong.

I wear footy socks. Never had a problem.

I think any comfortable socks are good and I’m not a believer in the expensive ones. Had some Burton ones which were no different to any other. I found some ski/snowboard socks in a chalet which I wear, washed in very hot water before use. I think your better off having decent boots and heaps of cheaper socks. Go ride and change them when you get back and use a fresher pair the next day.

Seconded.  Did you get the wool ones, Blizz, or the synthetic ones with a L and R foot?  I got both and they were both ok.  I liked the synthetic fitted ones a bit better, however the wool ones were good for the days when my boots were soaked.

Same! I’ve got that many pairs from footy/soccer and they all feel great! I usually will use the thinskin socks I have (http://activesocks.com.au/default/thinskins/football-rugby-socks.html). Best socks for sport (that require long socks) in my opinion! and only $10 a pair!!
