Absolutely frothing! A while ago I entered a comp in riptide bodyboarding magazine called “I got wild” and you had to write in and say where the most wild/exotic place you’d surfed was. I wrote a few words about surfing in Norway and sent in a couple of pics and forgot about it….Opened up the next Riptide and saw a pic and thought “that looks like Norway!”...looked again and realised it was my pic and my story! They’d put it as letter of the month and I’d won a $200 gift voucher for Bodyboarders Surf Co….well Bodyboarders Surf Co just had an online sale and I used my voucher and got all of the following loot!
40.5 inch VS Ryan Hardy model, Gyroll bicep leash and Viper fin socks. I haven’t had a new bodyboard in 5 years so I’m pretty amped! Yeeewww!
and I’ve also got a $50 voucher for District 5, the bodyboard shop at Warner’s Bay near Newcastle so hope to use it get myself some new fins, soon!

I’ve always ridden Science boards, so I feel a bit disloyal to my beloved Mike Stewart for getting this VS…but BSC didn’t have any science boards in the specs I wanted left….and I do love Ryan Hardy, too! I normally ride a 40, so will see how a 40.5 goes! Can’t wait to give it a whirl!
Stoked to be seeing The Dark Knight Rises tomorrow night.
