The Caddy thingo that ya got looks like it works unreal!!!!! Will it take a Gopro?????
Yeh it will take a gopro, just need a tripod mount for the gopro. You can buy actual screw/clips for gopro, but if yiou already have an attachment for a gopro to work on a tripod (ie screw into the bottom) that will work. It is so good to use. I want to make it a bit more steady by adding some weight to the bottom of the cradle tho. Cos a cam or dslr usually gives it a low weight. Iphone doesnt weigh much so have to focus a bit more on holding it still.
The lens if off centre cos of me. It is magnetic to a ring adhesive to the iphone. I put the adhesive slightly off centre by mistake and havent bothered to change it yet. Can still centre the lens but sometimes it moves across a bit.
For me to get that full fish eye result i have to film in 640x360, so considering, it looks pretty good. As soon as you bump the aspect up to 1280x720 or1920x1080 it isnt round fisheye. It spreads the image and looks more just like a wide angle lens. Good for some filming, but not the real close up follow/lead shots.
