capix helmets

im thinking about getting a capix helmet.. anyone got any views on these helmets? yay or nay?

Depends which one you’re looking at - the one with the long brim is probably one of the worst I’ve seen as it has very little padding and I don’t think that it’s actually certified.

i have the louie vito spy collaboration helmet, used it for one day in Tahoe then shelved it and bought a sandbox helmet.

Splurge out and get the sandbox, i love it.

what about the giro surface?

Not to sure about capix but i personal use a triple 8 that i bought with my freebord and it works great.

I have tried a capix destroyer on at my local shop and it feels heaps harder and a bit heavy that my triple8. Which is a good thing.
