That would mean that I’d have to pull it apart!!!!!  hmmm

Ohh, and it is a twist and expand/collapse style deal!!!!! Goes from 70cm-140cm!!!!!

It is a bit of a pain in the arse carryin it on ya if ya don’t have a backpack, but with it expandin out to 140cms it gets a great shot!!!!!

I’ve been toyin with the idea of makin some sort of clip style thing to be able to lock the pole onto my bindings so it can be stored when not usin it!!!!! I just haven’t been bothered to get that idea past the “brainstorm” stage yet!!!!! Hahahahaaa!!!!!

Yeah that would be sweet if ya could just clip it to ya highbacks smile

Your camera pole definately gives an awesome field of view!!

I’ve got the drift monopod but it’s only 50cm when etended… Pretty crappy, but better than nothin I guess.

I’m not expecting it to capture very good video, btu have to wait till the shred to see smile

With the smaller pole (like Drift or GoPro) I strap it to my wrist which gives me hands free while conveniently located. Drift remote makes a good strap.
Have a clip on, binding mounted holder for my PoleCam - can even use it to steer my board.

Just this week I installed a 1/4” thread to the end of a skipole so I could screw the Drift Monopod to it when wanting extra long, full body footage. I don’t think it will be be very stable because of the weight. Much prefer the VIO mounted on a pole.

RPS88a and I did some filming with a Drift monopod last weekend. Yeah it’s only pretty short but the upside is it fits in my pocket when I’m not filming. Just be careful with the wrist strap mine snapped within a few minutes of wearing it on a chairlift. Luckily we didn’t drop the camera.

My sister made a quick edit with some of the pole footage which you can see here

I just went and checked. My pole is actually longer than the average pole. It helps get all those funny angles I like.
Also I am not showing it to you guys anymore in case you get jealous or damage it on inspection.

I ended up making lots of poles. This way I have a different length for different times. I found the surf piece attachment just lying around in the workshop so I made a bunch of poles playing round with the best way to attach it. They’re not all awesome but they work.
