What’s your latest purchase?
One of my bestest friends lives in the states and she sent me these for my 30th! Granted, I didn’t purchase them but I thought this was the best place to stick it. The pink is a special edition boarding4breastcancer model that some of the proceeds go to. I just love that pink!

Dakine Impreza Gloves so I could fit in with all the Suburu Impreza owners…. and I was after a lower profile cooler glove as my main gloves were too warm over the weekend.
Also decided to stop being stubborn and purchase a stomp pad. Unfortunately STM’s website ordering system is failing me when combined with the boardworld code. I emailed them a few days back but haven’t heard anything, rider must be in charge of the emails! 
Last thing I bought was a drink haha. Last major purchase was a book.

Yeah was pretty sure you were the main GoPro instigator here! I have plans to rig it to a pole but don’t want to spend an outrageous $60 for the handlebar mount. Looked up a few things on google on DIY ones but none take my interest.

If ya surf, and inclined to use the rest of the surf kit, I made a pole complete for under $20 usin an FCS fin plug, a cleaning handle and a couple of pvc bits from the local hardware store!!!!! It gets the camera anywhere from 70cm-140cm!!!!!
My one was an extendable window cleaner with 2 pull ties and some heavy duty tape. If you put the tape on correctly, you can still open / close it with no issues.
Ah that 90 degree pipe is a good idea. But unsure how you attach it to that end?
yeah TJ, I saw one that involved cable ties and duct tape but didn’t seem very secure to prevent shake on the stick but I guess extra duct tape is always the cure. Also saw another one that was a piece of wood with a hole through it where a ski pole can be secured and then the helmet mount on top of the wood. The GoPro only comes with one helmet mount though…
(also thunder has just started to crank here in Wanaka. I just wish the temperature would drop!)
Ya need the FCS fin plug mount that comes with the GoPro Surf Kit!!!!!
So if ya surf, this is the way to go!!!!!
Otherwise there are some poles in the market made specifically for the GoPro!!!!! They just cost a bit of moola!!!!!
