Hahaha i had the same thoughts in Tahoe, i wanted a truck baaad!
I actually looked into it upon our return. A new Chevy Silverado here is about $120,000 after conversion etc.

So i looked for 12 month contract jobs in the states, can pick one up for around $30,000+ with a few boxes ticked (or alot more if you want the pimp one)

This is what i want baaaaaad;

Deano, fark Japan, lets go back to the US in December, pool our resources and buy this and live out of it while travelling through all of the west coast skit resorts from Big Bear to Big White!

I aint doing shit until i get a job!

But yes, that sounds absolutely awesome.
I will look for contract work, work for 6 or so months. Save as much as possible (now i am debt free) and lets do it.

What’s the fuel consumption on a big pickup truck running a 6.8L V10?

Might be better off towing a fuel tanker than a snowmobile.

i had a 2012 v8 chevy tahoe and i thrashed it fairly hard and only filled the tank once in 10 days(about $75), had between 2-6 people plus snow gear in it at all times also
