The movie thread

i have had mates see it, told me dont expect much action/tie in to Alien, it more sets up the story to allow the next movie to tie in with the Alien franchise (if that makes sense)

Saying that im still keen to see it.

I watched Mad Max and Mad Max 2 on the weekend. Both awesome movies.

Also watched A Few Best Men and it was decent. A bit much forced humour. They tried too much to be the Hangover, where the Hangover just did it more naturally.

I watched a few classic movies on the weekend that I hadn’t actually seen and loved all of them.

They were:

Aliens
Big Trouble In Little China
The Devils Advocate

Saw Promethius sunday -I thought the preview gave a bit too much of the story away, but was still fairly pleased with the result- I think you’ll enjoy it Deano

Anyone seen Prometheus?
Going to see in Vmax 3D with my mate tonite, let hope this movie will pleasure us….

After viewed this movie, I giving it 8/10
reckon its great for sci-fi fans only.
Must see the part “cutting belly” wont tell more till you see…

Went and saw The Dictator last week!!!!!

It cracked me up from start to finish!!!!!

I give it 10 Aladeens out of 10 Aladeens!!!!!

Yeh, I found Borat a bit annoying, Bruno wrong, but The Dictator is one of the funniest movies I have seen. I was in fits of laughter

Yeah, I have to admit that I liked his shock humour characters better when he kept them in short skits on the Ali G Show!!!!!

The critics panned The Dictator a bit, but my jaw was actually sore from laughin so much!!!!!

I liked both Borat and Bruno, so I’ll see The Dictator too.

I’ve heard mixed reports. Some people love it, and other say it’s terrible. Bit from memory both Borat, and Bruno polarised opinions, so I was pretty sure it qould be the same case with this film.

Just saw PROMETHEUS on the weekend. Its loosely set as a prequel to ALIEN. Pretty cool!

Fav movies are anything done by Studio Ghibli.

I’ve been wanting to watch Hot Rod again lately. Man I love that movie.

I have Borat on DVD.

I enjoyed The Dictator. I’m a big fan of Sacha Baron Cohen. The guy is hilarious. Aladeeeeeeeeen!

We watched Men in Black 3 last week. It was actually a really good movie. Just as good as the first and better than the second.

We already have tickets for the new Batman movie. Can’t wait for that!

On DVD, finally watched The Departed and American Gangster. Thoroughly enjoyed both. Great movies.
