I really think Perisher should have revealed the vote tallys - but I’m guessing that the public votes were only “taken into consideration” when choosing the winner, and not the deciding factor.

Oh man, what a day…
After finding a van that was perfect for what we needed, Jeremy (Olliepop) and I got all the finances sorted in the morning, were driving out to literally buy the van and we get a call…
“Jeremy, I’m really sorry. Not sure how to tell you this but the van was missing this morning. It’s been stolen.”
Jeremy and I just looked at each other in disbelief. We spent the rest of the day driving around Sydney, going to dealers and chasing up leads on Carsales.com.au. Finally found a van we’re happy with (in Castle Hill). Again about to make the purchase and the guy realises he doesn’t have a pink slip (which he needs to sell us the car as he is a registered car trader business). So now we have to drive back tomorrow to buy this thing.
Long, crappy day… but I guess it could have been worse.
Seriously though, the guy has owen the van for 10 years and it gets stolen last night! 
Bummer, at least you managed to find another one! Good luck with the purchase tomorrow!

Theives trawl car trader sites. Wouldnt be suprised if the guys who stole it actually inspected it with the owner prior to the theft…
