Are they Extreme?

Extremely cheap maybe.  Not sure if extremely good..

spray them with waterproofing thats what i did

do you reckon they need it?  They’re supposed to be 8000/8000.  I guess it couldn’t hurt.

My wife bought some reasonably cheap gloves last year ~$40 from a reputable outdoor shop and they looked ok, but after 2 hours in the snow they were soaked through, and worst of all they absolutely STUNK!!! . I don’t know what they made the linings from but holy crap it was awful!! Her hands wreaked for days!!!

But ah… hopefully the awesome extreme-ness of yours shines through LOL

The Aldi gear is surprisingly good. Some of my mates bought their jackets / pants there last year.

Apart from looking like every other noob on the mountain, they said the gear was good.

(at least better than hire gear and it was the same price to buy as it would have been to hire for 1 week.)

It wouldnt hurt but I still have a set from two years ago that are still in really good shape. got a new pair the other day coz they are exactly the same and so cheap $12. Would recomend these gloves to anyone who wants really warm and water proof gloves

^ Foursquare ‘Chisel’ Pants? Nice.

Yeah, I’m a sucker for foursquare pants. This is now my 3rd pair.

I don’t know why I keep buying them my last two ripped in EXACTLY the same spot.

Hehe, I’m really into Foursquare pants (mainly their ‘Q’ pants) as well - way more than three pairs. downer

None have ever ripped, though.

You know what, while taking the tags off just then I realised they aren’t the chisel they are actually the Boswell.

Won’t let me post an image for some reason.

They’re really similar styles.

Both of my last pairs have ripped just near the right hand pocket. It’s random.

Hopefully these ones will be better if not I’m going to have to find a new brand.

Wow, like along a seam?

I had a pair of Analogs that ripped in the ass like a week after buying. Returned them and they sent me a new pair. Pretty happy with the big B’s policy in that regard.
