The STOKE thread
STOKED all my assignments for the semester are handed in. Got my last one in by the 7pm deadline and promptly walked straight to the bowlo with freddy for celebration $10 steak night and a beer. We were both drunk off half a beer and so tired we were giggling, it was hilarious! Now just gotta keep my fingers crossed that I’ve passed everything because it will be a disaster if I fail!
Got the stiffest neck and shoulders ever after pretty much 2.5wks straight on the computer. Heat pack and Deep heat on it and moving it around as much as I can today!
Also, I have learnt that you’re never too old to have your mum help you with your assignments! I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her & they probably wouldn’t have been half as good - she’s a genius, the old gal! Also props to ozgirl for helping me with some file converting issues I had the other day.

I ripped the doona back so I could lay the stuff down for you guys! YOu couldnt see a black tee n black pants on a black doona haha.
But yeh, my bed is nothing. You should see the rest of the room. Its destroyed atm 
making beds is so over-rated. What is the point?
I agree! Even with my fancy new bedding, made the bed up the other night took a photo thought “awwww thats nice”. Pushed most of the pillows off the bed to go to sleep and there they stay!
Beds are for sleeping and relaxing in, not a piece of artwork to look at

my gf makes the bed, prior ot living with her my bed consisted of mattress/base/doona/pillow
That is it and it was never made.
Now its got all the shit pillows and sheets, cover rug etc.
haha fitted sheet and doona, that is about the extent of it around here…and I only ever make it if its rental inspection and making it consists on making the doonas straight on the top. (one on top of the other cos we have a queen size one each!)

No its just not a bloody pile of unused stuff haha. When I clean my room up, I’ll take a pic. My bed isnt boring, its just a normal bed, that is actually practical
the “only sleeping & relaxing” part is boring

A while back a teacher I work with got bitten by a red back spider which was hiding down the bottom of the sheets, another good reason to make your bed daily

I like crisp sheets… but I’m a pretty quiet sleeper who stays in 1 spot the whole night.
So I pull back the corner of the blanket and then pull it over me again. Not hard to keep pretty tidy between washes
