Boardworld presents ‘Down Days with Charles Beckinsale’

DOWN DAYS WITH CHARLES BECKINSALE

Charles Beckinsale, the DC shred and one of Australia’s finest park builders, has been plying his skills overseas at Whistler Blackcomb this season.

Boardworld catches up with Charles for a quick chat to see what he’s been up to this winter, getting a behind the scenes look at the man that builds jumps that float you to a touch-down landing, and even check out some shred by ‘The Boss’ himself.

I like Charles’ style. He just looks like he has been doing everyone one of those tricks for years. (Probably has)

Cant blame the tools, only the tradesman. In that case, I was the tradesman, the jump was the tool. When I hit that jump earlier first shot, it was the smoothest floatiest jump ive ever hit. Perfect take off, and the landing (that time) was like I never left the ground

Nice edit. Yeh, Charles has good style and kills the park. You’d have to be a good rider to build a good park. You need to know what works, what doesnt, and be able to test all features.
Only thing I dont like bout the edit is the song. Not a fan

that red and black DC hoody, really is cool. If they made that with pink and black I’d be frothing! haha

I’ll second that. The jump looked perfect, which is why we went over to hit it. K2 just went too fast. Also the transition was super icy because it was in the shade. Went from slush to ice very suddenly. It was hard to know it was there. Caught me by surprise too.
