I have a guy at work that I honestly dont know how he got a IT job. He was told to write the contents on a burnt CD and he asked “Does it matter what side I write on?”

I honestly wish I was… The same guy kept telling the users “I dont know, I’ve never done this before” I had to speak with him and tell him that the clients dont want to know that you dont know and havent done it before, they want confidence that you can fix their issue…even if you’re freaking out on the inside thinking how the hell am I going to fix that?!
He sounds like an it expert! Well as best as I can surmise he must have graduated in the top of his class.
The best it people are the ones that walk out of the class on day one because learning about technology is going backwards.
Billy must be balancing out my karma, my week is going fine.
Ash, better throw some muscle around at work and get better reception happening. Why don’t you stream SBS and run it through your tv?

And speaking of IT the ones here are n00bs… I accidentally hit the wrong selection on print (the default) which prints a million pages and I cant stop it from my desktop so I pulled out the paper drawer and tried to get IT to help… he claimed he fixed it, later I found out he stood by the printer and waited til all the pages had finished printing… good bye trees.

so annoying!!! I can’t see print jobs from my desktop unfortunately. When I told him my issue he was like “huh?”... “huh?” “I’ll drop by and have a look.” and stood there for AGES staring at the printer as if it was a foreign object. N00B!!!!
