From Banana to C2 BTX

Avatar

I just rang Ant from Gnu/Lib Tech and you guys are right I was wrong.  The C2 shape has been applied to all shapes EXCEPT the banana and park pickle.  They are regular banana shape.  I rode the park pickle last year with the regular banana and didn’t like it, however I’m keen to try the C2 shape, I think it would work much better.  Regular camber is important in some form or another on a board I reckon.

Apologies for the mistake.

Happy snowboarding everyone smile

No worries, seeing as from your avatar and screen name it looks like your in the industry I thought I was losing my shit, to the point where I went and looked at my board for a few minutes to make sure ha ha.  I will probably hold off on the purchase for the next little while, moving back to Sydney in a week or so and won’t be able to handle having a new C2 board sitting there not getting used!

Now with that cleared up. Which - thanks for making that call Trav.

So, how about those progressive shapes that Signal is making?

Had a pretty crap day at Buller on Saturday, lifts wre basically shut at 11am cause of the wind, one positive was that they had a demo day up there.  I did manage to have a crack on a C2 Banana Magic 157, not my ideal board but rode it more to see how the C2 went and first impressions from my limited time on it was that it is actually better at speed, will be looking into getting a C2 board once I’m all done and dusted moving and can set aside a weekend to get to the snow, looks like it will be perisher or Thredbo from now on!

How was the pop from the Banana Magic? I’m trying to get my hands on a T-Rice, same Basalt fibres instead of regular fibreglass. apparently pop is insane, even more so then the regular T-Rice which I thought was nuts.
