haha that is awesome but not all true. Tesla actually could have been very rich but he threw that all aside because he thought it would limit him as an inventor / his free will. It was his own fault.
He also filed a lawsuit against Marconi and didn’t give him permission to use his ideas/patents as those images suggest.
Probably a bunch of other errors in there but overall Tesla was awesome, and so is that story.
Yeh i dont doubt a fair bit of the stuff the oatmeal posts isnt 100%, but i wasnt about to sit there and go through it all and state all teh falicies in it!
Penny Wong slaying Joe Hockey last night on Q & A.
I don’t really see how that was “slaying” him at all? He made a point, she disagreed - that was pretty much it. She didn’t refute his point - all she did was offer an alternative viewpoint, and said that Hockey’s view was “hurtful”. She started off by saying “There’s almost nothing I can say”, then (in terms of refuting his point) proved it.
Was an interesting program last night.
I respect both Joe and Penny more now after watching it.
I don’t agree with Joe’s view, but I respect him getting up and saying what he feels / thinks 
I’m not even sure that what he said is even his view…I think he might just be towing the party line.
