I’m not sure where I fit in, I have a season pass and national parks pass for the car and plan on going down as much as possible, basically as long as it’s not raining I will be there most weekends as well as possibly two longer stints, a few days for the shred then also a couple of mates and I have a boys trip planned for a whole week.

That’s classic weekend warrior!

The Man - In my opinion is for an older, slightly richer, stuffier crowd. But could be a great location for your dinner. Mid week the Perisher Valley Hotel might give you exclusive use of their dining room.

The Smiggis Hotel is the pick for nightlife, most staff go there and if I remember correctly on Wednesday they have a band (I am relying on that for my group!)

A group of that size may be hard to accommodate in Perisher, Sadly I think Thredbo would be more the go for you.

10 years ago Smigs Hotel had steak night on Sundays. Great cheap feed, and used to happen on pay day, always empty too.

I agree with the Smiggs bit. There are a few lodges that might be able to help you out. I’ll ask a couple who might have the space.

Hey there Perisher locals! Couple of questions.. I’m putting together a work trip and we are staying on the mountain Jul/Aug ish. What’s the night life like up there? Is there anything going on mid week? Staff night??  Is there likely to be anywhere (nice-ish) that could host a 80 seat sit down dinner?? Thanks.

Did you end up finding anywhere for 80 people?

I thought he meant 80 people for a sit down dinner one night ...somewhere out on the town. I misunderstood smile
