Good suggestion chucky.
I was gonna say goggles or gloves as they are (almost) disposable items that wear out quick. Glad you opted for a base grinder tobi, You’ll be surprised how often you use it once you realise how invaluable keeping your base tuned is. An edge file would be the number one tuning accessory as I like sharp edges. A quick edge tune every day does wonders.
Shouldn’t have to drive 35kms one way to spend a voucher!!!
I hear ya. Online shop?
. . . The only thing they could suggest was a full tune of my board.
In the spirit of the whole “Feed a man a fish / teach a man to fish” concept, why not invest the money in a waxing iron and/or tuning equipment?
Got it already.
I told the boys that and their response ‘Well I bet you don’t have a base grinder’. Well no, I don’t but I also don’t have a board in need of one at the moment. Have only done 4 days in the last two seasons.
Have you got a tuning tool that will do both base and side edges, and will accommodate both files and diamond stones? If not, that’s be my pick.
