Snowboarding is missing something..

Avatar

Here is a little project im working on at the moment..

its only a prototype, but i feel that snowboarding has been missing something for a while..

I have obviously put a lot of thought into this..
yes its going to cop alot of snow…  thats just keeping the drink cool!
yes its going to get shook up, and at the bottom when you crack it open and it sprays everywhere… thats just like winning at the formula 1

give me your thoughts.. I still reckon the pros outweigh the cons wink

I love it! LOL
It’s obviously going to sell well amongst sponsored riders (since they are all sponsored by energy drink companies)

But how about a second model for the everyday rider. Something a bit wider that can hold a different beverage.
Like oh, i don’t know, let’s say…. BEER!
I promise you will sell all of your products during “The Shred” alone!

The shaking will increase pressure so you could run a tube up your leg and jacket and the pressure will force the fluid toward your mouth.

Good work! Unlike Mizu you reach genius status within 32 posts not +16,000

Has it got tooless adjustability?????

oh god yes, make it hold a beer! I can see myself enjoying a f1 inspired refreshing dousing at the bottom of each run!

Something like this might already exist… This one does fit beer!

Yeah, but Guido’s look like ya have jet propulsion canisters on ya feet!!!!! Hmmmmm…......

I like trents design, cos you could make a straw device to fit the top and have the can upside down and the beer pours into the tube and u drink it up

I would stomp onto the bottle/can 9 times out of 10, resulting in my ass on the ground, especially if i had been enjoying a few of the stomp pad held items

i personally wouldnt buy it because my camel pak holds more liquid (i can fit 1 full bottle of vodka and some orange juice in it) but its something different so go for it.

thanks for all the replies guys. just for what is worth I have no intention of marketing this item. I’m just making it for the LOLz.
also when I ride i wear a camelbak so im not really worried about carying large amounts of drank.

I do however really enjoy cracking a can of (insert energy drink here) when im on the slopes for that little bit of boost halfway through the day.
I dont drink so much of it to warrant filling an entire camelbak with energy drink and its often too expensive to buy one can while on the slopes. (if there is even a shop anywhere nearby)
I carry a can on me all the time for this reason.
its a bit annoying rattling around in my pocket and warms up from my body heat.
thats why I came up with the Idea.

I had seen that stomp pad at some stage on the internet but i thought it was too ugly to consider putting it on my nice board.

Avatar

haha that is true,
The only thing to consider is a…i cant think of the word i want to use, but a type of “latch?” on the top to prevent the can bouncing out of the holster (or is the can wedged in fairly tight?)

Avatar

oh yeah totaly!
its a tight fit so it shouldn’t “bounce out” but yeah a latch is definitely going on the top. its still early stages at the moment.
