The tough part is that if this takes off, skiers will have to find yet another name for their variation on regular skiing.
Then again, maybe it wouldn’t be too hard for them - because they’d probably just take an already established term already in widespread use, claim it as their own, and egocentrically ignore the fact that it’ll have a completely different meaning to the original.
