So today I put a little effort toward making a 30sec vid for this comp.
I haven’t submitted it yet.
Can you guys check it out, let me know what you think, how do I come across? (honestly) and suggest any changes I should make. Remembering I’ve already filled the entire 30 sec (it’s 31s actually). It took an hour or so with sorting through my footage and trimming it to fit - there is plenty of footage I wanted to use but didn’t want to spend time hunting it down.

I think it is a little too busy in the centre (where there is heaps on screen) and maybe a little too quiet in the beginning. I think you speak a fraction slow in the beginning, i feel it is painfully slow! But maybe thats cause i know you IRL and know its your performance voice? Rather than recording it again is it easy to speed up a little?
Ultimately i like it but you asked for honest feedback!

Yep oz, it’s my performance voice. I’m also dosed up on cold meds and was sweating with fever so was compensating for it.
That’s why I’m asking BW opinions - to see if should re shoot. Re shooting isn’t a problem, I did about 20 takes anyway! and it’s easy to drop it into the timeline.
If others agree I don’t think you need to re shoot! Can’t you speed it up a fraction? Worried if you do another take you will speak too fast. You know how hard it is!
Your ‘voice’ is fine BTW way i like it (i can see your training in it! LOL) it is just really slow!

Yeah I understand - it just doesn’t set a very good pace IMO.
But hey maybe no one else agrees

Yeah man thought it was great! Maybe throw in a little quiet background music that fades away with the vid at the end or something? Just a thought
