Maximise your 30secs spaz and do a split screen, half you talk about why you should be the ski bum, other side of the screen some of your footage (hint: i wouldn’t label the runs with Thredbo names

Think of starting it with “hi I’m blahblah, should be snowbum because you won’t find anyone with more dedication and sacrifice to this lifestyle” followed by a monatage of video and photos, ending with “the online community banded together to buy me a perisher season pass because they so badly want to see me vblog of Australia’s premier resort” with a quick grab of parts of that thread.

Wasn’t so much Shred goers but Caboose who started a little thread proposing the idea. Ozgirl organised the money and created a Myride Perisher account for me. Contribution came mostly from people (like Cabs) who are aware of my daily vids and http://www.SNOcam.com.au Since 2009 I’ve only been shooting thredders (though my initial plan was to be in Perisher by Sept that year) - some of you know about the personal interruption that put all my plans on hold in late 2009 (that is still ongoing).
Unable to get over to Perisher - Cabs (I suspect) devised this very cunning plan to force me to begin my Perisher campaign. And it worked, I’ve been thinking about the many ways to approach this winter but been unable to make a hard commitment given finances and other factors. With Perisher skibum prize all will be organised instead of me having to do EVERYTHING myself, as I have had to the whole time in Thredbo.
