Nice edit mate!!!!!
Just keep ya mouth closed next time!!!!! Eatin all that snow can’t be good for ya!!!!!
So sick, jez. Mega jealous! That was on piste, too?
Thanks cords. Yeah it was all shot inbounds.
Whoops - watched this yesterday when i was too devestaed about the events of Saturday night to comment on how awsome this edit was!
Thanks for the P0rn!!
wow that is good snow. fun times!
the lines are nuts though….what time do you need to start lining up to be first in line?
I have to say though rider….I don’t much like that angle from in front, where you are holding it in your hand (I assume its not on a pole). I mean you have a sexy jacket and all, but I’d rather see more of the mountain and your spray!
Also when are you going to jump that big cliff drop again .

I completely agree with you. I don’t particularly like any of the footage. Michelle hates that angle and gives me shit about it - and I agree. In this edit I used the GoPole Grenade Grip (image below). It’s only small and fit in my pocket. Good for follow cam. To be honest, I’m quite lazy when it comes to filming etc. so the convenience of having it in my pocket it appealing. That said, I did intend to take out the longer pole that day. It was all set up and ready to go and I broke it before I even left the house hehe. So I had to swap it back to the Grenade Grip.
The pole is now fixed and I took it out today for some filming to test it out. Hopefully it gave some better angles. I agree the angles in the previous edit are quite appalling.
I’ve been super tempted a few times to hit the cliffs. I’ve taken some smaller drops this season but nothing in that range. No excuses but I have been battling with niggling injuries all season (back, groin). And on the days I’ve been tempted (like today) the pow has been so good; all I’ve wanted to do is ride. There’s also a crappy hike-out in waist deep pow when you hit the cliffs. In a nutshell, haven’t done it yet and not sure if I will.
In regards to the line at Peak… that chair accesses arguably the best lifted high alpine terrain in North America. The line actually moves really quickly. The chair is fast and there are no mis-loads (mostly experienced skiers and riders using the chair). There’s also so much terrain accessed off the chair (several bowls, tree riding, backside, out of bounds areas), so you can always find fresh lines. On a good day you might wait about an hour to get a good spot before the lift opens. Really depends on the day. I had fourth chair up earlier this season on a super busy day and I probably waited just over an hour. So worth it though; the snow and terrain is epic.
Didn’t Dan have a go at the longer pole the other day?????
How does the longer one compare to my broomstick job?????
It would have been great to do a comparison side by side!!!!! (I should have left mine with ya!!!!!)
The poles work really well. I used the shorter one which is probably in proportion to Dan using the longer one. I found it easy to ride with and hassle free. I haven’t checked out the footage yet so we’ll soon see.

The amount of footage I have that im not happy with (basically cause i was lazy) is ridiculous!
yeah, I’ve got more days with crap footage than good too.
Rider, at least go shirtless if you’re going to go with that angle!

But he wont be able to embed the footage due to the Child Pornography filter!!!!!
