Stoked tomorrow is my last day of work for the term!

Coz, going to Tas on Wednesday for an expedition. No money left till the 14th (payday) This month I have had car insurance and rego to pay plus other bills
Car rego sucks doesn’t!
I like to pay mine 6 monthly but mine expired whilst i was in Japan (was too busy to do it before i left) Anyway by the time i got round to doing it it was 24 days over. Apparently you can’t do 6mth after 21 days!!!!
So yeah i know the pain! I had to pay double!

I always do mine yearly! Don’t have to worry about it as often… It’s more of a pain in the arse when you have to do it twice a year!

You don’t have to ‘do’ anything. It doesn’t go back to the mechanic.

My car rego is september and I always set aside $1000 from my tax return for it…then I never have to worry about trying to scrape the money together at the last second.

How much is it in NSW?
I don’t know how much they pay up there, Billy, but I know that every time they renew their rego, they have to get a pink slip as well. It’s like a roadworthy we get here when we buy/sell a car, but they have to do it every year.
I love VIC jsut because the rego is so much cheaper.

yeah the safety slip only usually costs about $30 but if you have to have anything done to your car to make it pass, then of course it costs more.
The CTP insurance & rego together usually come out at around $7-800 I think and I set aside the rest of the $1000 for anything that might need doing to make it pass the safety check.
