Hehe - yeah Billy there will be some when you get here.

I hear you Mizu. But the worst thing about this bread is you can’t eat it hot from the oven. It continues to cook. You have to wait til it is stone motherless cold before you cut it. If you want it warm you have to re heat it. Thats not so bad but yes it is torture when this lovely warm smelling bread comes out of the oven and you can’t cut it!

Agreed Mizu, about the olive oil. I had no clue how good olive oil on bread was until I was in Toledo in Spain and they gave us some free with a lunch I had. My mind was blown, it was delicious! Little toasted bits of bread soaked in it and put like croutons on a salad are epic as well.

Try it hot out of the oven with

I was bakin my own artisan bread usin a Couche Cloth, and was right into it!!!!! A traditional Italian way to have it is with the olive oil, salt and pepper, when it’s straight out of the oven!!!!!

Another way is to add some good balsamic reduction to the olive oil!!!!! Use a flat bowl/plate when ya have it, cause the oil and the balsamic separate, but when ya dip the bread into it, both will be absorbed!!!!!

Interesting Mizu - this is Artisan bread and I was taught not to cut it til cold. I do cheat and cut it when it is almost cold… and you can tell the difference but I just don’t care.

I use balsamic as well.

I also really love it with dips.

My fav lunch is this bread toasted (but let it go cold) then spread with tzatziki, shaved leg ham and then sliced tomato on top, must sprinkle with seas salt and cracked pepper! Oh yum!

I definitely want to join!!! had the event been in a couple more weeks time I would be there in a heartbeat, we just don’t have the $ for it. I’m not even sure I will be able to put a full tank of petrol in my car this week :-| gonna be 2 minute noodles for us for a few weeks!

If only it was on the Easter weekend!
