Two Saturdays: 2nd Whistler edit for 2012 (POW DAYS!)
Hey guys,
So we had two Saturday powder days in a row (Feb 18th and 25th).
I took the GoPro out with the GoPole Grenade Grip (the small blue one). It works really well for follow cam and it fits in my pocket nicely for convenience, but I need to start using the longer pole for self filming. Anyway, just put together this quick edit with the footage I had (batteries died early on the first Saturday).
The snow was fresh and I had a great time with my friends. Didn’t give much thought to the song choice but it seems to fit in nicely.

How long was that wait in the lift line? I honestly think I would have done one run and gone home after that, if that lift wait was the only option!
The line was for first lift, cords!!!!! Pretty sure the line would’ve dropped considerably after it had opened!!!!!

How long was that wait in the lift line? I honestly think I would have done one run and gone home after that, if that lift wait was the only option!
That’s the line up for Peak Chair. Best freeriding terrain on Whistler. On a pow day, it’s the only place to be and well worth the wait. I often wait up to an hour before the lift opens. Seriously, I’d rather do two runs off Peak on a pow day, than eight runs elsewhere. It’s the same reason people hike for hours to get one awesome untouched line.

Yeah, caught up with Paul and we did one awesome run down Million Dollar Ridge. Unfortunately the batteries died near the top of the run.
