Love your post chucky.

Sorry spaz, but your “point” belittles itself, and you’ve focussed your misdirected diatribe on entirely the wrong person.

If, by the “your own ignorance” accusation, you’re referring to my using the word “legible” in that manner, you’re mistaken. Although the word was used traditionally to describe poor handwriting and the like - through the advent of the modern typewriter, then the home computer and the resultant social media boom, the word is now used in a broader context. (Apparently, however, Cr****rs is attempting to introduce a new term into the common vernacular. That term is “chucky proclamation”, or alternately, “chucky rule”. Considering all evidence associated with the attempted introduction of this term, it appears the aforementioned phrase logically translates as “stating the bleeding obvious”.)

Just because someone is right (or wrong) has MAJOR significance, when that person is being accused of one or the other. Sure, “what is important is that a ones ideals are kept to oneself for the greater good of a community” - but only when that community is tied to intrinsically disingenuous notions of political correctness (ie. mired in superficiality). Personally, I prefer to be honest, and simply tell it like it is.

The fact that Cr*****s lacks the necessary intellect to compete with me on an even playing field is not my fault, so I will not make concessions because of it. Cr*****s was given plenty of opportunity to let it go, but purposely chose to inflame the situation instead. You reap what you sow.

Oh, and I studied Nietzsche at university. Nietzsche was a first class wanker.

I didn’t go to university, I even failed my HSC twice.
All my education has been from the real world - not a text book and not governed by credentials or how much better I am than anyone else.

I prefer to think that my “point” is more on the side of contradiction than belittlement.

I’m very aware of how idiotic I am. What’s my name? SPAZ!! der

It’s easy to say Nietzsche was a wanker when most professors of philosophy agree.

“is tied to intrinsically disingenuous notions of political correctness (ie. mired in superficiality)” isn’t this a description of every modern community?

You state; first - that c******s lacks the necessary intellect.
But then that c******s purposely chose to inflame it.
I disagree: (if) c******s lacks intellect then how could they have purposely inflamed it. To me it’s more of a mistake. Like when I tried to put a small ember that jumped from the fireplace out with the half full glass of 100proof vodka.

Are you arguing that modern vernacular gives allowances. Because a previous post of yours uses the opposing proclamation - that the other person is an idiot because they used modern vernacular instead of the correct english literal meaning.

I believe a “chucky proclamation” is only interpreted by yourself as “stating the bleeding obvious” (even if I do agree). To the community it is viewed more as “here we go again - chucky is going to go on and on until everybody else just ignores him” (or a moderator steps in and moves his posts) hehehe.

BTW the term “diatribe” is a verbal attack and impossible to achieve in the written sense.
Which university did you go to? I’ll be sure to steer my offspring away from there.

Oh, and I studied Nietzsche at university. Nietzsche was a first class wanker.

And an expert in it!
The books he wrote on philosophy self proclaimed him as such. He stroked his ego better than anyone else could. Isn’t that wanking? (unless you come from Canada where a wanker, in the 1980’s, was a a person who enjoyed heavy metal music, or are you referring to sexual satisfaction)

Why do you think I used his ideology to point out what your doing?
Repeatedly he speaks of his belief being superior than anyone else and him having to live with that.

At least he knew his Id and used his “wanking” as an example of the points he made. Isn’t this is the reason he’s considered the last great philosopher.

His life work exemplified that philosophy is intellectual “wanking”. The last page of his last book closed all debate on 3000 years of philosophy.

Sadly the holy bible made this point when it was written in 400AD. “the pursuit of knowledge is the pursuit of sadness” (depending on what version of the bible you have. The Catholic version says “an increase in knowledge is an increase in sorrow”. I’m sure there are as many versions of this saying as there are interruptions of; Alexander’s administration to bring together a united religion by selecting various text so he can control a communal world wide empire ie: the holy bible.

Nietzsche had balls and ended all philosophical debate by stroking his <strike>erection</strike> ego.

Persons of simple mind and intellect live far happier lives than those who believe they are better.

Nietzsche was not a happy man, he drowned in self worth because no one else could please him.

Personally I find sharing my pleasure increases my happiness.
Make love, not war.

Sex with another is better than sex alone.

Are you frustrated with your sex life chucky?

Sorry, I went Freud there. (similar time period, different field - one ended philosophical debate while the other began psychological reasoning).

Wrong again, look it up.

Still, I’m glad you got my Nietzsche reference.

C******s is like a bratty child who takes pleasure in tormenting a seemingly docile dog - pushing it to the point where it finally snaps back, then hypocritically playing the victim. That doesn’t take intellect, just the opposite. It’s truly pathetic.

I stand by my assertion. The meanings of some words have been broadened to fit modern times, but very rarely can the meaning of a word be changed completely. In most cases, if someone attempts to change the meaning of a word completely, that’s not ‘modern vernacular’, that’s just ignorance. There are notable exceptions, such as the word “gay”, for example.

I don’t believe I’m superior to anyone else - far from it. However, the “C” word proves with almost every asinine interjection that I’m vastly superior to him.

I do empathise with Nietzsche’s predicament, however, and have often expressed my envy of those fortunate enough to live in a state of blissful ignorance.

Yes, it is.

Is this benighted shallowness acceptable, in my opinion?

No, it isn’t.
