haha its clearly an attempt to keep the Aussie crowds at bay. Not everyone loves Whistler .....although my sister says its pretty darn cool.
Having further considered the situation I feel that in directly encouraging skiers a worse crime has occurred. I apologise for joining the mob.

yeah I’ve thought about doing stuff like that - nearly did one with V at snow park this year but then I saw it and I was sooo glad I didn’t. They stood around talking and stretching and that for about an hour before they did anything. I’m sure I’d probably get better with some coaching, but I’d prefer to just ride and get a lesson than do that…and I don’t care particularly for the whole “get together and ride with the girls” scene.
I’ve discovered recently that I have a distinct aversion to organised, single sex gatherings of any kind. I’m not sure I can articulate why exactly, but there is just something really fake about it & I hate it!

i was implying i like hanging with girls, but in a less civilised way of saying it haha.
i actually quite enjoy riding with my mates missus, she gives us a run for her money in terms of riding ability.

I’m not sure I can explain it but its the same in bodyboarding too. I’m happy to ride with my mates who are boys and girls…but there seems to be this perception somehow that girls find it easier to ride with other girls cos they don’t get intimidated by the guys or something? Why?? I really don’t get it.
Or that it is more fun to ride in a big bunch of girls? Why?? Also, in those situations, I tend to see a whole lot less riding getting done & that gives me the irrits!
If you really love snowboarding then you’ll ride anyway and if you really need or want a big bunch of girls to ride with as some kind of security blanket then I’m willing to hazard a guess that you don’t actually really enjoy riding that much in the first place!
