Rekorderlig cider is the sh!t. but i can only drink a few, wayy too sweet to drink heaps

haha yes it is the BEST. In Sweden they have stronger 8.0% ones which means you really only do need to drink a few! I like the Apple, forest fruits and the strawberry and lime flavours. Not so big on the pear.

Also look out for two other good Swedish ciders that have been popping up more and more around lately - Kopparberg and also Herrljunga. They are both usually in a woolies liquor shop. If you see them & you like Rekorderlig, maybe give them a whirl, too. Gives you more options if one of them happens to be on special, too!

If you are finding them too sweet, definitely try the Herrljunga as it isn’t as sweet as the others but it still delicious….but please note, I may be a tad biased, as they are made not too far from where my husband grew up.

Thanks for the congrats, mizu. Time certainly has flown. It has been a great year and I honestly couldn’t be any happier or feel any luckier. I will stop now before things get soppy. lol

How many years are you and Mrs Mizu up to, now?

We celebrated our 20th year of marriage last year, but we have been together for 26 years now!!!!!

And yeah, I couldn’t drink too many either due to the sweetness!!!!!

Have ya had the apple, vanilla one warm????? I reckon that would be a goer when ya on the mountain!!!!!

Pretty good innings, she must be very patient :-D (as is freddy, I might add!)

haven’t had the apple/vanilla one warm yet, but I suspect that as you say, it would be ace to warm up with after riding. Swedes have a christmas drink called glögg which is a kind of mulled wine. I had that during our season in sweden and its amazing!

You can get the non-alcoholic version here from ikea and just add your own whatever to it to get that effect if you so wish. That stuff is epic to warm you up after any freezing activity!

my mate got me onto the Rekorderlig cider a couple of months back, i love the apple blackcurrant and wild berry ones. they can get you into a bit of trouble without realising though, they go down a little too easy billy
