‘tis a sad day as i am currently sitting Vancouver International Airport awaiting my plane back home :(

Had an awesome 2 months in Whistler and my riding has improved 100%. Was good to catch up with as many as you as possible (although i didn’t say hi to Mizu haha) and will definitely try make it to the shred!!

Already looking online at booking a student flight working holiday deal for next season in Whistler smile

Also when im back in syd i’ll put up a review of my Arbor Westmark 159 which was a really good purchase and definitely made the trip just that little bit better (if that’s even possible). I also took out my Drift HD pretty such all of my final week so i shall upload some killer edits to vimeo some time soon.

Enjoy the rest of the season team!  shaka

Rider’s Blog: Day 45

7cm of new snow overnight plus inches apon inches during the day. It’s been puking non-stop here in Whistler. Our car was covered in snow this morning and absolutely buried when I got home from riding.

Peak Chair was on standby due to high winds up top (stayed closed all day), so I went over to Harmony to check it out. Had a sweet run through the trees and found some nice pillows down to the chair. It was a complete whiteout at the top of Harmony. Didn’t even bother trying to ride, came straight back over and caught up with Jacs at the Roundhouse. I knew today was going to be all about the trees, and it turned out to be awesome!

Rode with Jacs and two of her friends all day. We had heaps of fun riding together. We were mainly lapping Garbanzo chair, riding through all the trees. We rode a bunch of different tree; everything from Whisky Jack trees to Side Order and Club 21. So much snow and lots of good fluffy lines to be had. The snow kept coming down all day and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop. Peak is going to be epic tomorrow. Can’t wait to get up there and slash some pow.
