Niseko Update

The Kinsei Chiro man???, yes. They actually had a flyer in our apartment for him. Is this the onsen place you were talking about. I haven’t ha to visit him yet. The knee is feeling good. Just needed a break, plus I adjusted my rear binding by 3deg and this has helped as well. Spent rest of day snoozing, reading and waxed two boards and a set of skis. Out to Monty’s BBQ tonight.

Oh sorry. That’s right, Yukuro Onsen in lower village. Haven’t been there yet. Just been going to Prince Hotel. Will have a look at it tomorrow if it isn’t ridiculously windy.
Day 9: The sun came out this morning and lasted for a little while and got a couple of photos. All top lifts opened for open for 2hrs and then shut down due to persisting winds. Looks like a new is coming through as it is puking snow again.

Day 10: Bluebird day with temps in the village of 3 and pretty warm all round. It was really wind again last night with no new snow. Everything is pretty much chopped out, but managed to get a few fresh runs at the top of Miharashi through the trees. Everything has a wind crust on it but once the sun got into it, it was real fun. Slashing heavy slow snow on some steep stuff. The mountain was real quite again today and the town swung into action clearing the streets with graders and everyone was out clearing their roofs. It has taken two guys opp us all day to clear their roof which in places is 2m thick. They are nearly done and it has started to snow again. It is predicted to come down tonight so hopefully tomorrow will be a pow day.

that roof on the blue house is insane!
