The STOKE thread
Awesome rider! I sat down and watched it twice yesterday. SOOOO GOOD!
Extra stoked today - sure I met Craig Lowndes (he knew who Jenna was - didn’t need “from Canberra” 
hockey hey? )
But I also met Kane from ABC3 (my daughter is hooked me too) We became best buds and the production crew virtually had to drag him off to their next shoot - we chatted and asked each other endless questions about what we do. He is head of production for ABC3 (wow!) and the host!!
(When ABC was looking for new ideas for children shows years ago I wrote and submitted stuff).
They all had very clear opinions about our legal system (NO I DIDN’T BRING IT UP - or contribute too much to that conversation). They were just very concerned about children and how they are effected - it’s what the series they were shooting is for - so kids going through difficult times can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Extra EXTRA stoked, they (the production crew) were going to fly a guy in from Adelaide who is a wearable camera expert!
I met the crew at the gates 10min early while waiting for everyone to arrived - once we started talking - they were more stoked to meet me!
I don’t want to jump the gun - but it looks like I have made some very good connections and will get called on for specialist work. They did hire out some GoPro’s for today and being pro photographers for ABC were impressed (to say the least) with Drift HD they also showed respect toward POV1.5 and POV.HD (the guy in Adelaide used POV for Top Gear) One of the photographers has a POV.HD he keeps in NZ.
I gave them my footage and will get a credit on the show.
Kane signed a sticker for PP.
BTW Craig is a top bloke who knows how to play the media. And so honest. WE talked about our kids and being a competitive person as their dad.
Everyone was going to stay and have some fun race laps. Craig had to get to the airport, then the crew got caught asking me more about the Drift HD and making sure they had my details and in the end we ran out of time.

Stoked we are now in Washington DC and am trying to plan a snow getaway when we are in New York!
I told him you were in the US and about yesterdays AK-47 fun in Texas. He had an air of missing you when he thought of how long it had been. He was aware of the wedding.

OD’ing on Stoke!!!!!
This weekend is the VW Nationals drag race meeting. Until now it’s been held in South Australia, I’m going to shoot and set up OnBoard Camera Systems (Xcam) with the record holder of the fastest 1/8 road registered 4cyl in Australia (not just VW) who has 4 other cars on his team all doing respectable times and are absolute V8 killers. Pity I’m driving a Ford to the event and not my68vw.

LOL it has been a long time, almost a year in fact! Hope to catch up with him this yr before we buy our house!
Stoked on getting Pizza Hut for dinner LOL we got a pizza bread sticks with marinara dipping sauce and cinnamon sticks with icing for $10!!!
My stoke of a week is getting to much;
While pulling out of the car park at Bondi after the Bowl a Rama interviews I get a phone call wanting me to video tomorrow night - The world famous Grid Girls Secrete Project. 400 models Gokarting in bikini’s and lingerie. And my boss at the restaurant wants me to come into work instead - ha!
