Make sure ya let us know whether ya like ya TT’s or not, when ya come back from Japow, clax!!!!!
Will do
CJ how did you find the flex on the Raiden Zeroes?
In the high back it was fine for me because it didn’t give any unnecessary pressure anywhere, as well as being able to do quick and easy high back adjustments. The metal heel cup gives awesome toe and heel response so carving was a breeze I found.
Flex through the board was great. The smaller disc with the smaller foot makes a difference, I didn’t feel like I had a massive dead spot under my feet.
I hope that answer your question mudhoney.thanks, CJ, I’m just trying to judge if they’re more on the soft or stiff side overall. I’m glad you said they’re good carvers.
The metal heel cup helps heaps, when they are full nylon doesn’t help when they are soft.
Rotated my highback, felt way better for the cartels since it’s stiff and I got calf. By rotating the highback I’m able to put more forward lean now.

i’d hope you have a calf, if not you would be in trouble lol
Calf bite*. Hahaha typo
Just gave away my old set-up which was:
Salomon F20 boots - very comfy but very stiff and one size too big for me
Burton 2010 Triad bindings large
Burton Clash 157
Rode with the triads on my new board for three days and they were OK, but I just put on a set of Flux SF 45s which were also a medium to fit my boots which are size 9 Vans.
I think now that I’m riding with correctly fitting gear the bindings should be much more responsive. Looking for my riding to make a bit of leap this year. Also hoping to get at least 20 days on the snow.

^ What board did you replace the Clash with?
Pretty sure that MU grabbed a Never Summer SL?????

Hi Chucky Mizu is right Never Summer SL it is. What a memory that gentleman has.
Gonna get down to Perisher every chance I get this year. The whole binding/board/boot thing is turning in to a bit of an arms race for me. No sooner to I get some gear, then I see something else I like. I think my good wife is thinking about snow boarding this year so I might be looking for a choice board for her soon. Maybe on Octorocker me thinks.

Just came back from Whistler with Mrs Mizu and her new board, the YES Basic!!!!! She absolutely loved it so I can highly recommend it for Mrs MU!!!!!

Cool I’ll definitely give it a look.
At the moment I have 09 Burton Mission bindings, 1st set I owned, have liked the toe straps and they felt comfy although a little too much flex for the riding I am doing, I am looking at upgrading to Flux RK30 which should feel a lot stiffer
About time as a boarder you joined us over here!!
Re Bindgings… so what happened to the step in and out technology? Don’t see it around much anymore.
(and yes i know all you talented boarders are clever enough to do it with normal bindings….
cause they suck? is my guess.
Went/are going the way of the no binding, clip in boots thingy i hope
Good to see you back on BW MU!
